The Accountant will be an integral part of a dedicated and highly skilled team, responsible for providing outstanding customized service to our clients. The individual in this role will be responsible for performing a broad spectrum of financial activities and customer service, including accounts payables, receivables, expense reimbursement, and analysis.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Expense Reimbursement & Accounts Payable:

  • Deliver prompt and consistent payments using accounting software and other programs.
  • Maintain accuracy, while handling payments for separate entities and vendors.
  • Analyze workflow processes.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.
  • Prepare, review, and issue annual 1099 statements.

Accounts Receivables:

  • Maintain strong communication with clients and customers to request and arrange payment.
  • Record and track payments in databases.
  • Prepare and analyze weekly reporting.

Other:

  • Compile, summarize and provide support for tax processing.
  • Prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters efficiently and proactively.
  • Reconcile the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers.
  • Perform General Ledger entries as necessary.
  • Identify and implement processes and systems to automate and increase efficiencies.
  • Work on special projects, both individually and as part of a team.
  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with others; demonstrate a desire to be part of a team.
  • Exercise sound judgment and an appropriate sense of urgency.
  • Complete other projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any major, with accounting or finance coursework.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related field, such as accounting, finance, tax, or customer service.
  • Experience with MS Office products and Great Plains preferred.
  • Experience in customer service highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with efficiency; strong attention to detail.
  • Uncompromised commitment to the highest level of confidentiality and sensitivity to privacy in all aspects.
